As the year 2020 came to a close, the arcade racing genre on iOS in the United States saw various trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Sensor Tower's data provides insightful metrics into how these apps fared in the fourth quarter.

Voodoo, a publisher from France, saw their game Shortcut Run experience a remarkable surge in downloads, reaching 1.2M in early November before gradually declining to 385K by year's end. Weekly active users peaked at over 2.1M in late November, with revenue following a similar trend, hitting a high of $2.9K in the same period.

Another title from Voodoo, Scribble Rider, maintained steady download numbers throughout Q4, with a notable jump to 275K in the final week of December. Despite generating no revenue, the game's weekly active users showed growth, reaching a peak of over 600K at the end of December.

The exhilarating aquapark.io, also by Voodoo, had a consistent revenue stream, ending the quarter on a high note with $564 in the last week of December. Downloads saw an impressive climb, culminating in 229K in the final week, while active users increased to over 1.3M.

Voodoo's Type Run revealed a more modest pattern in revenue but demonstrated a spike in downloads to 131K in early November. The weekly active users reached their zenith at 236K in the same month.

Lastly, Hashiriya Drifter: Car Games by MIDNIGHT GAMES S.R.L. of Italy generated a steady revenue with $40K in the last weeks of September and December. The game witnessed a notable download peak at 137K in late October and maintained a consistent active user base, ending the quarter with 168K weekly active users.
